This Privacy Notice sets out how FTW Sdn Bhd (collectively referred to as “FuTian”, “us” or “we”) process your personal data and sensitive personal data, including collect, use, disclose, retain, dispose and protect your personal data and sensitive personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”), its amendment, subsidiary legislation, order and standard pursuant to the PDPA, the Personal Data Protection Code of Practice for the Communications Class of Data Controllers 2017, General Code of Practice of Personal Data Protection 2022 and other applicable laws of Malaysia.
By providing your personal data and sensitive personal data to us, you are consenting to the processing of your personal data and sensitive personal data as described in this Privacy Notice. We may also process your personal data and sensitive personal data to the extent, permitted by law.
1. Defining Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data
Personal data and sensitive personal data are defined in the PDPA and refer to any information that relates directly or indirectly to you, from which you may be identified.
For the avoidance of doubt, please note that this Privacy Notice is applicable if you are (i) a natural person who is a client of FuTian; or (ii) employees, contract staffs, sales representatives (iii) authorised agents.
This Privacy Notice also applies even if you are not one of our customers, but you interact with us including enquire about our products and/or services.
2. Types of Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data Processed
All products and/or services: Personal data and sensitive personal data that we process may include the following:
2.1 your name, date of birth, personal identification document, nationality, address, phone number and email, your alternative contact information;
2.2 your creditworthiness;
2.3 your credit and/or debit card information, bank account details and your payment history;
2.4 recording of your image via CCTV cameras when you visit our office;
2.5 other telecommunications related data
Your decision not to provide the requested personal data and sensitive personal data may prevent us from processing your application or continuing to provide you with our products and/or services.
3. Purposes for Processing Your Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data
We process your personal data and sensitive personal data which you provide to us, for the following purposes:
3.1 Core Service Delivery :
3.1.1 To process your application or registration under any program and/or activities organized or conducted by us or in connection with any of our products and/or services;
3.1.2 The sale of products and/or services offered by FuTian to you, including all activities necessary to facilitate and complete the sale and purchase transactions, deliver the requested products and/or services, and provide any related after-sales support or customer service.
3.1.3 To provide our products and/or services to you, including the administration and management of agreements, official correspondence, account statements, and customer support in connection with your purchase or use of our products and/or services.
3.1.4 Fraud prevention
3.1.5 To improve our services, including through the analysis of customer patterns and feedback, in order to enhance the quality and performance of our existing products and/or services and to support the development of new offerings.
3.2 Customer Relationship Management
3.2.1 To provide customer service, including the management and resolution of customer inquiries, complaints, and requests related to our products and/or services.
3.2.2 To conduct marketing and promotional activities, including the provision of information about and offers for products and/or services that may be relevant to you.
3.2.3 To conduct market research, including collecting and analyzing customer feedback to improve the quality of our existing services and support the development of new products and offerings.

3.3.2 To cooperate with law enforcement authorities, including providing assistance in investigations and complying with legal obligations as required by applicable law.
3.3.3 To facilitate dispute resolution, including addressing and resolving any disagreements or disputes with customers and our sales representatives and/or authorised agents.

We may, where necessary and subject to applicable legal requirements, disclose your personal data to the following third parties:

4.3 On behalf of FuTian, personal data may be disclosed or processed to:

FuTian is committed to protecting your personal data and sensitive personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures and provide training to our staff to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of your personal data. Any third-party service providers engaged by us are contractually bound and required to adhere to comparable data security standards under the PDPA.

6.2 Access your personal data and sensitive personal data that we process and maintain.
6.3 Request that your personal data and sensitive personal data, excluding any commercial or technical information that is confidential to our business or operations, be directly transferred to another data controller in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
7. Your Obligations
Where you provide personal data or sensitive personal data on behalf of another individual (such as family members or friends), you represent and warrant that you have informed the individual of this Privacy Notice and that you have obtained their consent or possess the legal authority to disclose their personal data and sensitive personal data to us for processing in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Notice.
